60@60  Open Call

60@60 came from a simple wish - to do something special to celebrate my own sixtieth birthday.

"Why not organise a show with sixty women artists, who are all sixty and over", I mused and shared on Threads...

Speak it and it shall happen.

The 2026 Open Call for the 2027 group show will feature  sixty women with at least four things in common:

1. They are talented artists.

2. They are open enough to take a chance on a show with literally no promise of any sort of return (financial, or reputational).

3. They support the endeavours of other women.

4. They happen to have been born in 1967, or earlier (because the show is in the summer of 2027).

The Open Call is FREE to submit.  Artists must be sixty, or over, at some point in 2027.  They must be women.

Work is deliberately small, so as to fit into The Little Barn (thereby avoiding the costs of hiring a large gallery space and having to find staff/volunteers) and also, to make it more affordable to post/transport.

Work under a value of 5000 Euros will be free from import duty into France as it will be entering as part of a temporary exhibition.
