The Secret Garden

At present, I am borrowing a garden from a former neighbour and friend.  She has sold her house, but kept back this parcel of land so that I could use it for The Little Barn.  It is rather lovely.

This summer, all four artists in residence have used it as a studio and retreat space and Brigitte Jarvis and VJ Appleton held their artist events there.

I now have the opportunity to buy the garden for The Little Barn Project and need to raise £8000 to do so (this sum will purchase the land and pay the legal costs plus taxes).  Usually, I like to try to do everything myself, but this year, I just can't.

I have set up a fundraising page and am hoping that if enough friends of TLB and 60@60 donate £5.00 or £10.00, I will be able to buy the garden before the first artist in residence arrives in 2027.  Wouldn't that be cool?
