From the UK, you can get to us by car using Eurotunnel or one of the ferry options or by flying into Limoges.
Long haul international flights come into Paris and then there are transfers to Limoges, Bordeaux or Poitiers.
It is possible to take a bus from Paris to Limoges with Flixbus. Tickets are around 30 euros one way and the journey takes just over five hours.
The nearest large train station is Limoges, but you can connect from there to smaller stations which are about 20 - 30 minutes drive from Vayres.
If you want to hire a vehicle when in Vayres, I can recommend Super U. They are reasonably priced.
Depending on when you visit, it may be possible to collect you from the airport or railway station. Additionally, I can put you in touch with a reputable private car company for pick ups and drop offs.
Please note that public transport is rather scarce (there is one bus a day through the village.) I have two bikes at the barn. Ideally, you will bring a car. The nearest charging point for electric cars is about 5 km away.
